Rev. Mark Machado’s Missionary Trip 

This is Brother Jerry, a missionary for Christ from Minnesota, USA. He is living in Mankessim, Central Region, Ghana West Africa. I, Brother Mark Machado was taking to him by my interpreter, Brother Peter. I ministered healing to our Brother Jerry for prostate problems, and by the power of  God broke the voodoo curse that was put on him. Brother Mark Machado April 4th, 2015

Here are three girls (from left to right are, Katheryn, Elizabeth, and Bridget) passing by as I was talking to Pastor Richard, in the white shirt, in front of Brother Peter’s home. I led these three young one’s to Christ, then helped them receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. They all spoke in tongues beautifully.

Today, Resurrection Sunday. I preached in Pastor Peters Church called, Shepherd Outreach Pentecostal Ministry. The message was Christ’s Resurrection Power. The people were very thankful for the message. Brother Mark Machado, Sunday April 5th, 2015 Mankessim Ghana West Africa.

After an alter call for salvation, I dedicated this newborn baby girl named Emmanuela. Praise God for the children!

Because of the dedication of Emmanuela others brought their young one’s for blessings.

This young boy was brought to me for healing a fever…

This older Sister had an Unclean disease beginning to eat away the skin of her right foot…

This young girl came on her own for healing in her stomach, and fever pains in her head. I asked her when she will be healed? She said right today. Amen!

The Sister in Christ said she had a challenge with anger. I also ministered to her for bad cholesterol, high blood pressure, and other ailments. Praise God for the faith he gave us to believe!

Another fever was removed by faith in Jesus name for this young boy.

We, Brother Peter and I, are in the town Cape Coast. I am presenting the two weeks Gifts of the Spirit Course here to about twelve new students. I have been to this city many times before in the past preaching and ministering in primarily Methodist Churches. One of the churches was about 167 years old at the time. Today all the twelve students of the Rev. B.G. Leonard Full Two Weeks Course on The Gifts of  The Spirit were led into speaking with tongues with the interpretation. I rejoiced as they had little to no hurdles to overcome in obeying God’s Holy Word.

This is Sister Freda doing her exams in the Full Bible Course here in Mankessim. Ghana West Africa. A couple of days before I helped her overcome some hurdles in excercising in Gifts of The Spirit. She ministered healing to me and I was healed of some physical conditions. Praise God for His great love for all His people.

Today in Friday of the first week of teaching and training in our Course. We were supposed to be driven to our class destination which is about 40 minutes drive. Today I was teaching concerning the record of Nathan coming to David about the sins he, David committed in II Samuel chapter 12. About how David repented. During the morning brake one student came and wanted to repent for what they had done in the past. I said go ahead and repent.

It was extremely hot today as I concluded the teaching on the gift of the word of wisdom. The power was off so we could not use the ceiling fans.

The students in this course on the Gifts of The Spirit today spoke in tongues and interpreted the second time in the class, for most of them it was their second time. I had them speak in a different tongue that the day before. They brought forth great messages (prophecies) to bless us all who were present. Brother Mark Machado, Cape Coast Ghana West Africa. This Sunday morning I was asked to preach in Brother Isaac Jedu’s church, called Assembly of Christian’s. He hosted the first Full Two Weeks Course on the Gifts of The Spirit that I presented here in Ghana in January 2002.

The Christians who are lined up in a semi circle were at service today because a loved one is now asleep in Jesus. The funeral for our late Brother was yesterday, and I taught today from the word of God about what happens at death and when Christ returns for all His followers in the faith in the clouds in the air. 

I was thanked for the message by a Pastor of the Church. I then made a call for salvation.

This is Brother Blessing ministering healing with me on the same Sunday in Rev. Jedu’s church. He, Brother Blessing is a graduate of our two weeks training course on the Gifts of The Spirit last year when I was here in July-August. 

The Sister was the last person we ministered to. She had pains in her head and then asked to and was filled with the spirit, evidence by speaking in other tongues. Praise God Forever for His loving grace and power!

Sister Freda was laying hands with me to many that came for healing, as one of the Pastor’s in the Church interpreted for us. Sister Freda speaks a different language in this region, she is from a different region in Ghana.

Everyday on the way to class we pass by this sign. The sign is well painted and colorful. So what is it advertising? It is a place to go to the, “Ju Ju man”.  That is what we would call a witch or wizard. The items painted on the sign are the tools of witchcraft. Today I led the students in this class into their ministries as they exercised the Gifts of The Spirit to heal all sickness and all disease.

The sellers here on the side of the road are selling their traditional food in the blue plastic. It is called fanti kinki. Fanti is one of the languages here in Ghana. This kinki is a semi tart paste that you use your hands to break some off of the block and dip it into a sauce. Brother Mark Machado Cape Coast Ghana West Africa. April 16th, 2015.

Today at break I was checking for any new emails. I saw a young boy selling a type of donut ball. I asked him to come and I bought two. of them. He told me his name and I told him mine. Then I told him I am a Bible teacher from the USA. I asked him if he went to church, and he said, “Catholic”. Then I asked him if he has accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour?

Tonight was graduation. There are thirteen students who completed the two week training, three of them are pastors. I prophesied over each of them, the blessing of the Lord, one by one. Below are some of them being prophesied over…

Praise God for the smooth transition of the students in this class as they all are now walking in the Gifts of The Spirit, and for the great revival here in this city of Cape Coast.

After graduation the grads were ministering healing to those that wanted it. Some even ministered over the phone to others. Praise God Forever for His great love for His people born again of His spirit! Brother Mark Machado Cape Coast Ghana West Africa. April 17th, 2015.

Today I visited my first interpreter here in Ghana. It was 2001 when we first met. Brother Isaac now has a Health Clinic as you can see on the sign. We had a great fellowship conversing about the many spiritual battles we had won in times past. Pastor Peter and I were invited to Sister Freda’s (she is holding the young girl on the right of the picture) mother’s home for her mothers 66th birthday. We ministered healing to all that are in the picture, and others who were not there at this particular time. Praise God! Rev. Mark Machado’s Missionary Trip 

This is Pastor Richard again who interpreted for me when I led the three young girls to Christ about two weeks Prior. We were scheduled to preach and minister at another church this morning but the Pastor bailed out at the last minute and called to cancel. 

To bad God had a message for them… So we called Pastor Richard who welcomes us. I taught on a message titled, “Part Alike:. In 1st Samuel 30:24. Many came for healing and some to be filled with the spirit….

This is a Brother who needed help overcoming his obstacles in life. Sister Freda has been ministering with me for the past couple days and has grown greatly in the faith. We, my interpreter, Pastor Peter, and three new students are on our way on about a two hours drive, to a new city to start another two-week Gifts of The Spirit Course. Today was day one of the two-week training in this area called Agona Ahanta West. It is near a larger city called Takoradi. I had been to Takoradi many times in the past preaching the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Today is day two of the teaching and training. We concluded today with the teaching on the gift of the interpretation of tongues. This is a well (Pastor Ramsyer allows the village to use the well also ) where we get our water for bathing. Because of the extreme heat I need to bathe two to three times per day. Below is my bucket of water in the shower room.

Bread anyone? This is how almost all items are carried here. “Now that’s using your head?” 

After teaching class today I was given a fresh coconut. The liquid in the glass is from the coconut. Good stuff, mmmmm.

This was my dinner for the evening. It is called “Red Red”. Black Eyed bean sauce over fried sweet bananas, one of my favorite Ghanaian dishes! 

Here in the roof of the church is a resident…a dove near her nest. We can hear her cooing daily as I am teaching class. Brother Brother Mark Machado, Agona Ahanta West, Ghana West Africa. Monday April 24th, 2015.

Tonight, Friday night, we are waiting for the people to come to the house of God. As it happens, regularly the power goes off, sometimes for up to 10 hours. But we have a portable generator to power the church and the home next to the church of Pastor Ramsyer, who is a gracious host. Brother Mark Machado, Agona Ahanta West, Ghana West Africa. The students were prophesying tonight at service one by one in obedience to God’s Holy Word. I taught a message from God’s word in I Samuel 30:24. I titled it, Part Alike…after the service the parents brought this young child named Betty to me for healing.

She was born two months premature. The poor one had many problems and the parents believed by the mutual faith as I ministered. Here is precious Betty below.

Today I was invited to preach and minister by my interpreter, and Gifts of The Spirit student, Pastor Matthew in the right of the picture. I taught and then presented the Lord’s Supper, communion to the congregation. Below are some of my students during the worship service prophesying…

The message the Lord gave me to deliver to the congregation was what I titled, Lord Lord! My text is Matthew 7:21-23. The message was received with thanksgiving. Brother

This Sister came for healing after I taught the message on Lord Lord, she is pregnant. By the power of God her unborn child and her will be fine. These are my friends from the area that come to practice their English with me. I asked them all if they have accepted Christ as their Savior? They all said yes (the girl on the far right 8^th in the the photo is my interpreter for these young ones) and told me the name of the place where they attend church.

One of the boys said he goes to the Mosque, but has accepted Christ as his personal Savior. I told them to come back tomorrow evening and we will have bible school. They were all excited with great anticipation! Brother Mark Machado, Agona Ahanta West, Ghana West Africa. Monday April 28th, 2015.

I Yam what I Yam! This is a common dish here in Ghana. It is a large white yam covered with a red sauce made of some vegetables and scrambled egg. I am not in Texas now! Brother Mark Machado, Agona Ahanta West, Ghana West Africa. Monday April 28th, 2015.

Tonight I was asked for the next three evenings to do a campaign in an area where, as I was told after the service, it is hard to lead souls to Christ. It was my kind of place preaching on the streets! After teaching out of Mark chapter nine, I made a call for salvation…

Mostly children and the young accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour. I could not count the number who came to Christ as I looked around at the crowd. Praise God as Pastor Matthew had recently came to this particular part of the area to reach others with The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Brother Mark Machado, Agona Ahanta West, Ghana West Africa. After leading so many to Christ I gave them the oppotunity to be filled with the spirit, baptized with the Holy Ghost…here I am helping them to receive! This man came to me after the service and thanked me for preaching and said, with alcohol on his breath, “I am a drinker I need help!!” Praise God for his honesty as I helped deliver him from that cursed problem. Brother Mark Machado, Agona Ahanta West, Ghana West Africa. Monday April 28th, 2015.

This Brother, after service, was brought to me as it was revealed that death was not far away. I prayed and ministered to him then let him know if there is anything he needs to talk to God about, to go to Him tonight. God’s love is big and so is His grace and mercy! Tonight I taught the children about how Adam sinned in the garden and that we are all born with sin the nature. After showing them their need for Jesus Christ. I Showed them that Jesus shed his blood and died to pay the price for our sins and for everyone’s sins. Then how God raised Jesus Christ from the dead the third day. After delivering the Holy Word of God, a message I tittled, “The Blood of Jesus Christ”, this Sister came forward for healing. I had led some of the students into ministering today. Here is Brother Clements and Sister Pacene delivering our sister from many curses and evil spirits coming against her, including many physical problems. Tonight during  open service I delivered a message of faith, then made a call to salvation and healing. It was a tough battle as the powers of hell fought us and lost. I was led to bring a young girl out of the crowd for healing and deliverance. I declared a revelation about her not sleeping at night because devil’s were tormenting her. Then I gave her to two of my students and they set her free from many devils as tears of thankfulness came down her eyes…see below.

Two other students are also ministering on the right side of the photo. Then a man is being set free from alcohol addiction. Thank the Lord God in the name of Jesus Christ!

I warned the students a couple days ago, as I began to teach them on the gift of the discerning of spirits, that satan will try some tricks on us. Well, this chair broke under me as I was waiting for some of the students to go to the evening service. Praise God we have the victory in Christ, not a scratch or pain on me! Thank you Lord! Here is Brother Bolor. He came last night in the Volta Region, for deliverance from evil spirits that were coming against in the night and he was not able to move. This is my interpreter for the service, Brother Ernest. In this part of Ghana they speak a different dialect, the name of the language sounds like the word, “Airway”. I delivered a message I call, “Can two walk together except they agree!” Amos 3:3 is the verse I use as the basis for the sermon. This is Pastor Huddy, he invited me the night before to preach and minister healing at his church. It is in a tough area I call, “Mars hill”. He also was ministered to. Praise God! In Acts chapter 17 the Apostle Paul preached the unknown God to them as they were worshippers of idols. This area has idols in abundance! Brother Mark Machado, Mepe Volta Region, Ghana West Africa. This Sister came forward for healing, and also had some family problems. She had visited an occult wizard many years prior. I declared the revelation about that fact and she confirmed it. I told her the family problems were because of the visit to the occult wizard. Then, by the power of God we broke the curse and sent the devils to hell. This man came for healing. I led him to Christ then he received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and the gify of tongues. Then he was ministered to because of a stroke caused by an evil doer.
