Statement of Faith

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

1. The Holy Bible is the Word of God.

a. The Bible is the Holy Word of God, and as such, it is Truth.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. I Thess. 2:13 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17

b. The King James Version of the Bible is the only Authorized and God-appointed translation of the Bible. It is the only authoritative English translation of the Bible. Should a minister of Christian Training Centre be addressing a non-English speaking congregation, and must of necessity utilize a different translation, that translation must be expounded in a manner which will conform to the King James Version of the Bible.

c. The Bible is not subject to private interpretation, and can only be known via revelation from God.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. II Peter 1:20-21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. Luke 10:21 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. I Cor. 2:10

2. There is ONE God, Who reins Supreme. God is a Spirit, and He is Holy. He is The Holy Spirit.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Deut. 6:4 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Isa. 43:10-11 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness. Isa. 5:16 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: Isa. 43:3A God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18

3. There is one MEDIATOR between God and men, the Saviour Jesus Christ.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; I Tim. 2:5

4. The Bible accurately testifies of Creation of the Heaven and the earth.

a. The Week of Creation, as set forth in the First and Second Chapters of Genesis is literal and scientific fact.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Gen. 1:1 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: Rev. 10:6

b. The first week of Creation is the type of the Week of Millenniums, the week of seven days, each day lasting 1,000 years, that signifies the duration of this heaven and earth. The Week of Millenniums culminates with the Sabbath or Day of the Lord, the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. II Pet. 3:8
