God bless you all.
Greatly in the name of Jesus Christ!

I, Brother Mark Machado, arrived safely in Accra Ghana. I had a few days rest then the first Gifts of the Spirit course training began on Monday the 10th of this month.

Thank you all for your support richly!

Glory to God The students were led into their God-Given ministries!

Here we led these three into receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and the gift of tongues. They (the 2 men) came to the evening service off the streets

Here is the graduating class in Takoradi

To my right is the gray shirt is my interpreter Brother Isaac Debrah, who has faithfully helped me In Ghana since 2001. To his right, in the black shirt, is the hosting Pastor, Mintah. He is one of my Gift of the Spirit course graduates of about 20 years ago. He, Pastor Mintah, sat in a good portion of this class and was very thankful for the truths from God’s Holy Word. Below is a plaque given to me from Pastor Mintah and his congregation. I was very moved by what they wrote, at how thankful they were concerning God’s Holy Word that I taught them. (feel free to read it if you so desire). At the bottom of this fantastic gift and presentation is the word, Ayekoo- in their language this means well done.

Praise God for His love and foreknowledge in helping us in our Christian Walk! After doing two, two weeks Gifts of the Spirit courses, I was asked to preach in a small village called Bomaa. It is about a 10-hours’ drive from my place I was staying in the city of Kasoa. A day or two before our departure, with my interpreter Pastor and friend Edwin, God had revealed to me that during our journey our car would break down. I had actually forgotten about what God showed me as we started our trip. As we were driving in a very rural area I was looking around at the trees and land and wondering if somebody’s car broke down in this area how would they ever get out of it? As we were passing by a very small village with the population with maybe 20 or so people, we stopped outside of the village. Now this road was very ruff, dirt with pot holes sometimes muddy, I said to Brother Edwin in the Ghanian language, “you need to drive slower” you are driving to fast and hitting the pot holes to hard and the car is going to break down. So, after stopping we got back into the car, Edwin was driving, he started the car and put it in gear and the car would not move.

We heard a noise like it was trying to move but would not engage and we could not go.  As I exited the car, I said to God, “I know that you know we were going to break down on this ruff road, and I know you will help us out of this situation in Jesus Name!”  I checked the transmission fluid to see if there was any metal in it. There was not. At that time two men on a motorcycle stopped to see what the problem was. One was the driver of the motorcycle taxi, the other man said he was a mechanic. He asked about the transmission fluid, I said I already check it. He looks underneath the driver’s side front tire and shaft to the transmission. He saw and told us the shaft was broken. He said he needed to get his tools back at the small village. So, we waited for his return.

The mechanic now returned with his tools. I said unto him, “those are metric tools they will not work on this American made Chrysler P T Cruiser, you will need American SAE tools to work on this vehicle”. He took off the tire and tried to take off the drive axle and the other front-end parts to remove the drive axle from the transmission. He said he needed to go back to his place to get some other tools.  When he left, I took off the disk brake caliper assembly to help him.

When the mechanic came back with the other tools, he finally got the broken part off of the vehicle. Now with a broken shaft and now having two separate pieces, he said he would go back and have it welded. I was thinking in my mind how can he have a welder in this small village? I was wondering why he did not go to the bigger city where they might have a welder. I was also thinking when he welds the broken shaft together, he will need to grind off the weld outside of the shaft so that that the shaft will be smooth. Then I was considering, “in America what mechanic would do this?” In the USA, they would tell you, sorry, you will have to wait to get a new part! Here we are in a very desolate area in Africa and this man is fixing it right now?

So, when he came back with the shaft now welded, I look at the welded area, I could not see the weld very well. I thought to myself, this guy is good! He even Brought grease that was needed to put in the spindles. I watched him intently as he was doing a perfect, and thorough job! He double checked the assembly and made sure that everything was done properly. I almost could not believe it, what a great job he did! Then came time to ask him the question? How much do we owe you for your work?” He said 200 cedis (about $19.00 US dollars)

The mechanic got on the motorcycle and left and before we could leave, as he has already departed, I said to Brother Edwin, “did you get his name? Did you get his phone number?” Edwin told me the mechanic said he does not have a phone! I said,” who does not have a phone now adays. He has a business as a mechanic.”  Then it came to me like a flash, … some have entertained angles unawares. Heb 13:2

We drove about 9 hours or so and arrived at the village called Bomaa for the week. We also drove back a few days later about 11 hours to Kasoa on the repaired vehicle with no problems at all. Praise God! Praise God! He truly cares for us and will never forsake us.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1Peter 5:7
…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Heb. 13:5

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD! ! !

We had a great revival in the village where I preached about a week day and night.

Many were healed, set free from evil spirits,

and others, received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and the Gift of Tongues.

I have travelled to many nations and in all the foreign countries that I have traveled to for the work of God in this small village called Bomaa the hosting Pastor did a fantastic job in providing an air-conditioned room and meals daily Glory to God!  May God Bless all on this missionary journey and all of you who support this work of God in all the you do! It is with great joy for me to give you this testimony of the greatness of our Father which art in Heaven, and in Him, allowing me to be one of His servants.

God bless you all mightily, in the name of Jesus Christ! in Christ Brother Mark Machado.
